The Eastern Ontario Farriers Association was established in 2017 to support the farrier community in Eastern Ontario and surrounding area. We encourage a commitment to ongoing education as well as provide resources for new and established farriers to network with other equine professionals.
Working closely with the Ontario Farrier Association, Foot for Thought, L’Association des Marechaux-Ferrants du Quebec, American Farrier Association, and American Association of Professional Farriers, we aim to continue to foster growth within the profession for the benefit of all horses.

In our ongoing dedication to learning we provide a clinic series throughout the year that focuses on specific hoof related topics with expert farriers and veterinarians from across North America.

Materials for Certification.
EOFA is a proud supporter of certifying farriers in their trade via the AFA Certification program. To encourage more farriers to become certified we would like to make the process as accessible as possible.
Support for Injured Farriers.
As part of our initiative to foster a strong, professional community we offer help in supporting injured farriers with a split work program designed to give you peace of mind while you recover.
